Maynooth Latest Scholarships, The Departmental Doctoral Scholarships for excellent students in Ireland have been announced by Maynooth University (MU).

Applications are now being accepted for the academic year 2022/2023. The main goal of this programme is to help students who intend to start a research degree programme in October 2022. This €6,200 prize and a fixed maintenance award of €10,000 [or €16,000] each year are available to deserving and needy candidates.

Maynooth University (MU), sometimes known as the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, is a constituent university of the National University of Ireland in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland. It was Ireland’s newest university until Technological University Dublin was launched in 2019, as it was established by the Universities Act, 1997 from the secular faculties of the now-separate St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, which was founded in 1795. Maynooth is also Ireland’s lone university town, with all other universities located in cities.

The institution is divided into two campuses: an older southern site with 19th-century buildings that is shared with St Patrick’s College, and a newer northern campus that spans around 100 acres and is separated by a public road (0.40 km2).

Eligibility For Maynooth Scholarship

  • Eligible Countries: Ireland
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Full-time research degree will be awarded in any subject offered by the university.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Participation in Departmental activities as part of this scholarship is required to undertake teaching support duties for up to 240 hours per year, with generally no more than 4 hours in any one week. These activities will be carried out under the direction of the Head of Department or a member of staff nominated by the Head.
